7-day Customized 5* luxury tour of Andalusia, Spain, including Seville, Ronda, Granada and Sacramento and many more Andalusian destinations, epic sites and historical gems.
Brand g is excited to once again offer an immersive experience in Andalusian culture where you can find the scent of orange blossom, the swish of a flamenco dress, the glimpse of a white village perched atop a crag. Immortalized in operas art and literature, Andalucía often acts as a synonym for Spain as a whole: a sun-dappled, fiesta-loving land of guitar-wielding troubadours, reckless bullfighters, feisty operatic heroines and Roma singers wailing sad laments. While this simple portrait might be outdated, stereotypical and overly romantic, it does carry an element of truth. Andalucía, despite creeping modernization, remains a spirited and passionate place where the atmosphere sneaks up and envelops you when you least expect it – perhaps as you’re crammed into a buzzing tapas bar or lost in the depths of a flamenco performance.
Our tour includes three nights based in Seville, one of the world’s most historic cities and three nights in beautiful Granada. Our bases will allow you to see the most important sites of the region and still relax and unpack.
This 7 day tour, is designed to complement our 8 day, 2024 Málaga, Morocco and the Canary Islands luxury cruise sailing from Málaga on the 7th of October.
Welcome to Andalucía! You will be met and transferred to your hotel 5* Hotel Alfonso XIII . Tonight we gather for a festive welcome dinner. (D)
After breakfast at the hotel, we enjoy a tour of Seville including a tapas lunch. After lunch enjoy a private Horse Carriage Ride through Seville. Tonight we dine in luxury at the modern riverside Restaurant Abades Triana (B/L/D)
Today we venture outside of Seville to the World Heritage town of Ronda, known for its cliff-side location and a deep chasm that carries the Guadalevín River and divides the town. Visit a historic bullring museum and learn of the history of bullfighting and how its popularity has waned in recent years. Enjoy a paella lunch at the traditional Pedro Romero before traveling back to Seville to learn of the history of Flamenco at the Flamenco Museum Cristina Hoyos and sample local tapas (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel and check-out and join us for a tour of Cordoba where you will visit the mosque and synagogue. Lunch is at Bodegas Campos and after we transfer you to Granada where your room awaits you in the 5* Hotel Granada Palacio Santa Paula. After check in feel free to explore independently and enjoy dinner on your own tonight. (B/L)
Wake up to a tasty breakfast before visiting the historic Alhambra, a palace and fortress complex located in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. It is one of the most famous monuments of Islamic architecture and one of the best-preserved palaces of the historic Islamic world, in addition to containing notable examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture. Enjoy an exclusive drinks reception on the Alhambra terrace followed by lunch. This evening join your hosts for a cultural dinner and entertainment experience. (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, we tour Sacromonte which is located almost on the top of Mount Sacromonte, the name of which translates as “sacred mountain”. Once upon a time, gypsies lived in caves located on the slopes of this mountain and it is one of the six neighborhoods that make up the urban district or barrio of Albacín. The neighborhood is notable for its historic monuments and for largely retaining its medieval street plan dating back to the Nasrid period (13th to 15th centuries). Enjoy a local lunch and after return to your hotel. This evening we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (B/L/D)
After breakfast check out of your hotel. Today we transfer to Malaga where the tour ends. En-route enjoy a traditional Spanish fish lunch in the seaside resort of Nerja and after, a city tour of Malaga. (B/L).
