We’re off to southern California later this month where we’re throwing a few parties to thank our alumni and meet new friends who have an interest in lgbt travel. With a bit of a lull in our trip schedule it’ll be good to get out from behind our computers to reconnect with our guests in their home towns and also meet a few new people.
The first stop on our itinerary is Palm Springs, where Brand g alumnus, Mike and Jeff, have graciously opened up their beautiful home to us for poolside cocktails. Co-hosting the event will be another wonderful couple who’ve also traveled with Brand g, Paul Zapala and James Meyer, independent owners of Palm Springs based Zapala Meyer California Properties.
Our bartenders will be serving up cocktails featuring boutique vodkas and gins from Far North Spirits. The northernmost distillery in the contiguous United States, Minnesota’s Far North Spirits is one of a handful of authentic field-to-glass estate producers of small-batch, craft-distilled spirits. Far North’s Syvä Vodka was named one of the two best unflavored vodkas of 2015 by the Spirit Journal. Check out their website where you’ll find refreshing cocktail recipes to inspire your spring or summer soirée.
Next, were off to San Diego, where Brand g guests, Chris and Doug, have offered the upper deck at their establishment, Urban Mo’s – “the best gay bar in the world” for our next event. There the bar tenders will be serving up Svedka cocktails and we’ll feast on some tasty Mo’s appetizers. James Meyer and Paul Zapala will be joining us in San Diego as well. They’re super nice guys and great to talk to if you’re in the market for property in the desert.
The final stop on your journey will be just outside of LA. Art and David, who are new to Brand g, will be hosting in their lovely home in the San Fernando Valley. The theme of the night is Italian with pizza and wine on the menu.
