Free time in Oslo:

The Royal Palace, the Oslo harbour, Akershus Fortress, The Parliament, The Norwegian Opera and museums (for example the Munch museum and National Museum are quite new and worth a visit) are all in walking distance of the hotel. Within five minutes walking distance you will find four exclusive shopping centers with department stores: Eger Karl Johan, Paleet, Steen & Strøm and GlasMagasinet. You will find high street fashion brands such as Gucci, Ralph Lauren and Burberry as well as timeless exclusive brands such as Louis Vuitton and Hermès close to Grand Hotel. The hotel is ideally situated near the train station Nationaltheatret. The station has tram, bus and underground connections to transport you all around the city of Oslo. You may also wish to visit Aker Brygge, which is a short 15-minute walk from the Grand Hotel. It is a vibrant waterfront district known for its mix of shopping, dining, and cultural attractions.
